Map & group sources

The map uses Natural Earth 1:50m country geometry, localized place names and capital coordinates. Abkhazia and South Ossetia use Natural Earth 1:10m disputed-area geometry clipped into the same country boundaries.

This editor uses a custom editorial boundary configuration: Kosovo is merged into Serbia with an independent optional label; the Russia–Ukraine boundary follows the supplied Group 42 SVG, with one shared curve and the combined coastline preserved; Abkhazia and South Ossetia are separate editable areas. Antarctica is horizontally compressed to match the supplied visual reference. These are presentation choices for this map.

Country groups

Group memberships were checked on 23 September 2026. Presets add the listed countries to the current selection; combine multiple groups freely. Shift, Ctrl or ⌘ click can adjust any selection.

Labels & export

Country labels remain inside country boundaries and are revealed when zoom provides enough space. Seas, oceans and capital labels have separate visibility controls. All map names switch between Spanish and Portuguese. The editor remains in English.

Selected-country exports include only visible selected country shapes, their borders and enabled labels. In Free rectangle mode, draw any rectangular crop or resize its corner freely. SVG exports preserve paths and editable text. Geometria Regular, Medium, Bold and ExtraBold, Inter and Noto Sans are bundled and embedded in exports. Geometria italic is synthesized unless an italic font is uploaded.
